The GAAC Board 2024-5

The following is the updated list of Board Members 2024-5 from the AGM held on Tuesday 18th June at Turweston Aerodrome. Matt Wilkins (Aerodrome Manager of Old Buckenham) was elected to be the new Chair of GAAC, while the Board thanked Charles Henry FRAeS for his 20 years of service as Chair. During this time Charles raised the profile of the GAAC and oversaw its expansion and continued success in advising airfields, and on other issues in particular through his chairing of the APPG for Aviation (Previously General Aviation) Taxation Working Group, striving to remove VAT on flight training in the UK, among other things. Charles was invited to remain on the board as Hon. Vice President, a post he gratefully accepted.
